The Padre and Shira's Wedding

Last Sunday Steve and I went to The Padre and Shira's wedding. It was so much fun and got me really excited for our wedding. It was at a beautiful castle in Westchester, NY. Here are some pictures and at the end there is a little surprise.....

Happy Birthday Steve

On Saturday Steve turned the big THREE ZERO. To celebrate we went out for an amazing dinner at a cute new restaurant in Williamsburg called Dressler . Then we headed into the city and met up with Henry and Lala at a hookah bar in the east village. We ended up back in Williamsburg at a friends party. It was a fun night. Here are some pictures.

It's my turn to roast

On Saturday night my good friend, The Padre, had his bachelor party. He is the person who introduced me to Steve. Instead of having the typical party, he decided to have a roast. Unfortunately this was an all boys event, so I was not invited. Steve, on the other hand, had been preparing for the roast for weeks. I heard that Steve was freakin hilarious. Anyway, since I didn't get a chance to roast The Padre on Saturday night and I heard a couple of shots were taken at me, here is my small attempt at roasting my good buddy. It's all in good fun.

The Padre was a great roommate. He was very cost
conscious. He kept the water bill very low by showering
once a week.

The Padre - you have a future selling Fruit Loops as
Toucan Sam's replacement.

The Padre - let me give you a fashion tip - TRY a little.

The Padre, I wish you and Shira a very happy, healthy, and a wonderful life together. I can't wait for the wedding this weekend.

Here are some pictures that Steve took of the roast.

I said yes!

Steve proposed on Saturday at the Boston Commons near the swan boats. That's where his parents got engaged. After screaming no way and jumping up and down, I said yes. I was totally surprised! Apparently my whole family knew for two weeks that Steve was going to propose, but they didn't know when or where. This is the first secret that they were actually able to keep. We haven't planned any details yet, I'm just enjoying the sparkle of my amazingly beautiful ring.

Now on to the cheezy pictures. We took them last night at our favorite restaurant, Enid's, conveniently located two blocks from our apartment.

Lazy Blogger

I've been a lazy blogger. I haven't updated in forever. I've been busy hanging out with my sister and her kids in the jerz. No excuses, I just haven't felt like updating. Steve and I had a house warming party on Sat. night. It was a great time. The party lasted until about 12:30. Some people may say that it was lame because it ended early. I say that the party was a success..... people ate all my food, drank a lot of booze and most of all I got to go to sleep when I was tired. That's what I call a good time. I'm such a hard core partier. Anyway, I'd post some pics, but I forgot to take them. Until next time........
